Platt. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe blade has a maker's mark of an arm \u0026amp; hammer, F, and anchor, which is unidentified but pictured in John McGrew's 'Manufacturers' Marks on American Coin Silver' and attributed as possibly Albert Coles or a custom-mark for an unidentified retailer. Certainly there are many examples of folding coin silver knives by Albert Coles out there. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis piece is in good, working condition. The sides of the handle have a few very small dings and surface abrasions, but no major damages and no repairs. The raised designs are crisp and the case\/handle itself has never been monogrammed.
